Mission: As the student run government, we voice the concerns and interests of the students. We provide quality services, programs, and activities in a dynamic and diverse college community. Vision: To be the most active and visible resource for students and the greater college community. Core Values: Students, Education, Diversity, Inclusion. Overview The Student Association (SA) is a student run government located on the second floor of the Angell College Center. Through the SA, students have the opportunity to voice their concerns and interests pertaining to the campus. Quality services, programs and activities are sponsored by the SA to bring a diverse and dynamic college community to SUNY Plattsburgh. Under the Student Association, several clubs and organizations offer students an opportunity to get involved—there are currently more than 70 active student clubs and organizations. As an important part of the collegiate experience, clubs and organizations are essential for allowing students to learn outside the classroom. Students will have the opportunity to develop skills necessary to live and work in today’s diverse world—all while furthering their communication, leadership and organization. Overall, student organizations offer a fantastic way for students to meet their peers that share similar interests. To see all SA clubs and organizations, click here.
