My art has always been who I am and where I belong, I have no choice in the matter. Art is life itself, you are never fully satisfied but you cannot exist without it. Georgia O'Keeffe best explains my feelings towards color and the world around it. "Color is one of the great things in the world that makes life worth living to me and as I have come to think of painting it is my effort to create an equivalent with paint color for the world -life as I see it."
life is pure adventure and the sooner we realize that, the quicker we will be able to treat life as art. -Maya Angelou |
