am weathered;
I am humbled;
I am solitary.
I am not ideal.
Yet still, I am strong;
I am determined,
and I am growing.

My photographs are an exploration of myself. You will find pieces of me in each of them. I began this project by questioning how we are psychologically related to the external image of ourselves. How much of ourselves can we see in our reflections? I'm interested in where my environment ends and I begin.

I could not take a picture and show you who I am. I am still looking for and simultaneously becoming myself. I'm not finished. There are pieces of myself I expected to see, that remain hidden. There are pieces visible that surprise me, which I could not see without my camera.
